The Person I Admire The Most |

The person on the left is my mother. She is a soft-spoken person by
nature. However, my mother turned to be a stronger person after my
father passed away.
Life was tough and difficult especially when my mother was not
educated but she never gave up. As a sole breadwinner, she always ensured
that my brother and I were well-taken care of. In order to protect
me from getting bullied, she did not find herself a partner. To me, she
is a truly GREAT mother. |

The BIG Bully |

My brother was a "big bully" since young. He
never failed to make me cry when I was a kid. He was so mischievous that
my grandfather had to chase him with a cane everyday.
When my brother was about six years old, he
went to stay with my granny. Since then, we seldom get together.
However, when he was in secondary one, he decided to come back. Once a
while, my mother will bring me to my brother's school. His form
teacher would never fail to complain to my mother about my brother's attitude and
poor results.
Although my brother did not have a
certificate but he is extremely smart, which is why he is now the Managing Director of a multinational company. |

Ugly
Duckling cum Cry Baby |

My mother once told me that I was an
ugly baby when I was born. I looked so dark and plump that my aunties
gave me a nickname "ugly duckling". However, my mother and aunties
mentioned that I was the easiest baby to look after. I would only cry
when I'm hungry. Normally I SLEEP throughout the day and night. I guess
my mother is the most fortunate one as she did not have to wake up in the
middle of the night to feed me.
My brother used to call me "cry baby" because
I would cry easily, even like losing a game to my brother could also trigger
my tears to drop.
However, I grew to become a tougher girl when I went into secondary
school, that is when I learnt to be stronger and more independent.

The Most Pampered |

Oh! This is my family's most pampered, Gizmo
the GREAT. It is eight years old now. I remembered the 1st time when it came to our house, it was
so small and ugly with it's fur covered with brown patches.
However, it has now grown so cute and snowy white. The
credit should go to my mother. On every alternate days, she
will grab Gizmo and head to the bathroom to give it a good scrub. I guess
this is how Gizmo gets its snowy white fur.
Gimzo, is a temperamental dog and it got worse
as it grew older. Sometimes it will just ignore us when in foul mood or even
grumble at us when it is not happy. However, Gizmo is a timid
dog and usually gets panicky when the skies turn dark.
Nevertheless, it makes a good companion,
which is why I treat it as part of "My Family".
